Our story and mission.The mother-daughter baking operation Two Girls and an Oven began long before they had a website and a store front. Shortly after her third birthday, Catherine helped her mother Carla bake “Grandpa’s Fruit Cakes” for Christmas. Mother and daughter have been baking new things and old favorites together ever since. Now you can enjoy their love of baking, too! If you want something for a special occasion coming up or just because you’d like a treat, contact the girls and they will bake something fresh just for you.
As an added bonus, all of the proceeds from Two Girls and an Oven go to support the South Carolina Orthodox Christian Foundation, which raises money for Orthodox charities locally and around the world. Part of the proceeds will be donated to help fund Orthodox Christian missions in South Carolina, including the start of a new Orthodox Mission in Greenwood, SC.
